20-year-old woman charged with kicking crying infant in head in Okaloosa County

A 20-year-old woman was charged in Okaloosa County for allegedly kicking an infant in the head.

K B-C, of Panama City Beach, was booked into Okaloosa County Jail Monday night on charges of:

  • aggravated child abuse
  • resisting arrest

She also now has a hold for ICE.

The incident happened Monday evening in Fort Walton Beach in a vehicle.

According to the arrest report, deputies spoke to two witnesses — B-C’ boyfriend and another person — who said B-C was sitting in the front passenger seat when she started acting aggressive and crazy over the infant crying in the back seat.

The report states B-C then turned around and kicked the infant in the head.

The boyfriend was able to get the baby out of the car and away from B-C, according to the report, before deputies were called.

The report states that when deputies tried to arrest B-C, she became aggressive and resisted. She was eventually taken to the ground and handcuffed.

According to the report, deputies noticed fresh signs of bruising and contusion to the infant’s left eye.

The report did not specify B-C’ relation to the infant, but the charges are not categorized as domestic violence.
