A 22-year-old Pensacola man is dead and three others are injured after a crash in Escambia County on Wednesday evening, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 5:30 p.m. at S. Fairfield Drive and Villa Drive.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 22-year-old Pensacola man, driving a silver Chevy Silverado, was traveling southbound on S. Fairfield Drive, while approaching Villa Drive.
A black motorcycle was positioned on the southbound border unoccupied with passengers nearby, according to a release.
The 22-year-old driver failed to keep in the proper lane and collided with the motorcycle, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The 22-year-old succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A passenger of the truck, a 17-year-old Pensacola man, sustained serious injuries. He is expected to recover.
Two passengers of the motorcycle, a man and woman, were taken to the hospital in critical condition. They are also expected to recover.
