3 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash near Vilano Beach bridge, fire rescue says

One person was in serious condition, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

Three people were taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash near the Francis and Mary Usina Bridge in Vilano Beach, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

Crews responded to the crash near Harbor Drive around 1:45 p.m.

The patients were taken to HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, with one in serious condition, according to SJCFR. 

The age of the patients was not immediately available.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported the road was blocked after the crash. A First Coast News viewer said traffic was slow-moving on the bridge.
