Four people have been displaced after a fire sparked inside an attic of a Fort Myers home on Tuesday morning.
The Fort Myers Fire Department responded to a home on Jackson Street around 6 a.m.
When crews arrived, they said they found light smoke coming from the vents before locating the source of the fire in the attic.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire shortly after.
According to FMFD, four people were displaced. The American Red Cross has been called for assistance.
The Fort Myers Fire Marshal is on the scene continuing investigations. The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time.
No injuries were reported.
