51-year-old motorcyclist killed in Brevard County crash

A 51-year-old man riding a motorcycle early Monday died in a crash in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 4:32 a.m. on Malabar Road near Malabar Woods Boulevard.

According to a crash report, the man was traveling above the speed limit when he was approaching a curve.

He ran off the roadway and was thrown off the bike when it overturned, troopers said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
