Abandoned Porsche found partially submerged in Miramar canal

Miramar police are investigating after they said a Porsche was found Friday morning partially submerged in a canal.

According to police, the luxury vehicle was found in the water near Southwest 132nd Avenue, just south of Old Miramar Parkway.

Police said Miramar Fire Rescue crews went into the water, but no one was found inside the vehicle.

Police said the canal and nearby area were also checked, but no victims were found.

Officers are now trying to make contact with the vehicle’s registered owner.

The investigation remains ongoing.
