Arrest affidavit: Woman arrested after deadly DUI crash in Daytona Beach

A woman accused in a deadly crash that happened back in January has been arrested, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

The woman was identified as 24-year-old Starlett Tabares, who is facing DUI and vehicular homicide charges.

Investigators said the incident happened on the weekend of the Rolex 24 race.

Police found a man had been hit at the intersection of Seabreeze Boulevard and North Oleander Avenue.

The victim was later later pronounced dead, according to the affidavit.

The report said Tabares was driving her vehicle in a reckless manner and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Tabares was arrested last Saturday, and her next court hearing is scheduled for July.
