A boat fire near the Riviera Beach Marina was swiftly extinguished on Thursday, thanks to the combined efforts of a Coast Guard Station Lake Worth boat crew and Boca Raton Fire Rescue firefighters.

Photos taken at the scene show the boat smoldering as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) said there were no reported injuries or pollution concerns following the incident.

Highlighting the importance of safety to the South Florida community and its seas the USCG stated, “The Coast Guard is grateful to our local partner agencies in their commitment to maritime safety and stewardship.”
