The driver of the Hyundai Sonata was charged with DUI.
A car catapulted through two Clearwater businesses early Sunday morning, including the popular Skyline Chili restaurant, according to a City of Clearwater news release.
The 2010 Hyundai Sonata was traveling west on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard when the vehicle veered out of control at around 6:45 a.m., according to the release. It jumped the median and crossed eastbound lanes before crashing into a nearby strip shopping center, slamming into the front of Greenberg Dental and coming to rest inside the Skyline Chili next door.
