A new video shows two people being hit by a car while walking across US-41 on Saturday night.
In the video, one person can be seen lying on the ground, while another walks off and flees the scene.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the man on the ground was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center as a trauma alert with a head injury. LCSO is working to update us on his condition.
The vehicle that hit the men stayed at the scene.
The sheriff’s office states it does not look like the pedestrians used a crosswalk.
