Drivers traveling this Fourth of July on I-95 North encountered some delays in Palm City.

According to Florida 511, the crash occurred at mile marker 106, near the Martin County Rest Area, just before 2 p.m.

The severity of the crash is major, but Florida 511, did not disclose if anyone was injured.

A photo from the traffic camera shows a car flipped over into a grassy ditch off the highway.

The right two lanes were blocked off while first responders accessed the scene, according to Florida 511. Just after 2 p.m., the lanes reopened, but the crashed car was still in the ditch.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) projected a record 60.6 million people will travel by car over Independence Day week – that’s an additional 2.8 million travelers compared to last year.
