A Manatee County man was arrested after deputies say they proved he left his six-year-old child in a hot parked car, killing her. Markise L. Outing, 24, brought a child to a Southern Manatee Fire Department station in Bradenton on May 20, seeking medical attention for the child, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.  Paramedics found the child unconscious, not breathing, and possibly in cardiac arrest. A man in Arcadia has been arrested after police say he exposed himself to a minor and took photos of a woman wearing a skirt as she shopped. Plantation woman accused of killing cyclist in hit-and-run

A 25-year-old woman turned herself in at the Broward County jail on Tuesday to face a felony charge after police said she killed a bicyclist in a hit-and-run crash near her home in Plantation back in 2022. Driver turns himself in after deadly hit-and-run in Fort Pierce

The driver involved in a deadly Wednesday morning hit-and-run crash that killed a moped rider has turned himself in, the Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD) indicated in an update. FPPD posted onto its Facebook page around noon that officers were looking for the driver of a Honda Civic that was involved in the wreck. Student arrested after weapon found on Seminole High School campus

A student was arrested during the summer session at Seminole High School after someone tipped off investigators that they had brought a weapon to campus, according to the district. A message sent to parents said the weapon was found inside the student’s backpack; however, the student had not threatened anyone with it. Woman killed, 7-month-old taken to hospital after crash near St. Lucie County

A 54-year-old woman was killed and a baby boy was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash in unincorporated St. Lucie County on Tuesday afternoon.
