Upon arrival, fire officials reported seeing smoke and flames coming out of a home. The Seminole County Fire Department and the Oviedo Fire Department battled the fire. A man and a woman were killed in a head-on crash with a driver who attempted to overtake traffic in a no-passing zone Friday night in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on County Road 42, near Lazy Lake Road, troopers said.
