Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a Clearwater police vehicle that was stopped helping a disabled vehicle. According to Rob Shaw, the Clearwater Police spokesperson, the officer was stopped to help around 11 p.m. Thursday when another car crashed into his police vehicle on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. An investigation is underway in Pompano Beach after a shooting left one person dead, authorities said. Broward Sheriff’s Office and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue units arrived at the scene of the incident in the area of the 11000 block of Northeast 10th Street, Thursday afternoon. A man in his mid-30s was hit and killed Thursday morning while riding a bicycle on Pecan Park Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Officers responded to the crash at 6:37 a.m. on Pecan Park Road just east of I-95. JSO said the man was riding his bicycle east on Pecan Park Road when he was hit by a Toyota sedan driven by a woman in her 50s. Paramedics responded but the man died at the scene. The driver
