State Road 56 reopened to traffic Monday afternoon after a semi-truck was hit by an SUV and spilled nearly 40 tons of gravel, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 11:10 a.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes just east of Interstate 75.
