The Florida Highway Patrol said the garbage truck had been traveling west on State Road 54, and was attempting to turn left onto Monmouth Drive when it was struck by a motorcycle that was traveling in the opposite direction. According to the sheriff, a woman was riding her bike northbound crossing the intersection of Okeechobee Boulevard and Haverhill Road when she was hit by a 2007-2008 black Hyundai Tiburon at a high speed. A suspect in an Orlando drive-by shooting last August that killed a 19-year-old man and a 6-year-old girl will be in court Monday for an arraignment hearing. Tyrik Omari Nichols was arrested in September in Colorado.
