
Suspect in 20-year-old man’s murder in Lauderhill faces charges in Broward
George Williams was at the Broward County main jail on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale for the murder of a 20-year-old man in Lauderhill. Lauderhill police had a March 15 warrant for the arrest of Williams, 29, when Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested him for premeditated murder on Monday in Oakland Park. Jaylin “Jay” Conorquie was an aspiring rapper. His parents were proud that Royal Palm Elementary School teachers considered him a gifted third-grade student. He had a gift with words.
