A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly slapping the mother of his child during a custody swap of their child. An officer responded to a battery at 904 E. 12-year old injured in Fort Myers multi-car crash, man arrested

A 12-year old was one of two people injured in a rollover crash on Friday night. According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers attempted a traffic stop on a black sedan on Park Avenue and Second Street. The driver, 39, fled from officers during the traffic stop before hitting a car in the intersection. A gray sedan was seen flipped on its roof on the grass shoulder. Hendry County deputies investigate ‘suspicious’ crash in Clewiston
