A 71-year-old man was killed Friday when his own truck rolled over him, according to Florida Highway Patrol. According to the report, the man and his passenger were reversing out of a private driveway, but the truck wouldn’t shift into drive. A 12-year old was one of two people injured in a rollover crash on Friday night. According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers attempted a traffic stop on a black sedan on Park Avenue and Second Street. The driver, 39, fled from officers during the traffic stop before hitting a car in the intersection. A gray sedan was seen flipped on its roof on the grass shoulder. FMPD says a 12 and 22-year-old had minor injuries and were transported.

The Hendry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a “suspicious” crash on CR-833 at Dooley Grade Road in Clewiston. Deputies said once they arrived they found what appears to be a single-vehicle crash with suspicious circumstances. HCSO is opening the southbound lane of CR-833.
