BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A Fountain man is dead following a crash at the intersection of Highway 231 and Cherokee Heights Road. It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Monday night. Panama City officials say a motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Highway 231 approaching Cherokee Heights Road when for an unknown reason a truck pulling a trailer collided with the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, 31-year-old Trenton Hood, was thrown from his bike and pronounced dead at the scene.

PARRISH, Fla. (WWSB) – An 18-year-old was killed in a motorcycle crash in Parrish on Tuesday. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was approaching the intersection of 116th Avenue E at a “high rate of speed” when a large truck entered the intersection by making a left turn and traveling into the immediate path of the motorcycle. LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — It was a terrible accident that left a family fighting to survive, and two children trapped inside the back of a burning car.  A Good Samaritan, AJ Slater, helped the family save one of the children, but sadly, the other child did not survive.
