The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lehigh Acres woman for attacking a Lee County School bus driver. In the police report, a Lee County bus driver told deputies she lost her way on her route November 8 after students began screaming and playing loud music. The bus driver told deputies she pulled over at E Sixth St and Joel Boulevard to “regain control of the situation.” Parents came to the intersection to pick up students there the report says.

The sheriff’s office said the crash occurred at Tamiami Trail and National Boulevard and one victim was taken by Bayflight helicopter for treatment. The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District responded to a fire at Victory Church in Lehigh Acres early Thursday morning. Crews responded to the scene on Taylor Lane around 3:55 a.m. Once crews arrived, they said the building’s sprinkler system had extinguished the fire in the sanctuary.
