A woman was taken into custody after driving her godson to a Jacksonville hospital with a gunshot wound early Tuesday morning.  According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a man in his early 20s arrived UF Health on Lane Avenue with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm.  JSO said the shooting happened at a home on Arques Road on the Westside. Four people have been displaced after a fire sparked inside an attic of a Fort Myers home on Tuesday morning. A woman died in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Tampa. Tampa police responded to the 1700 block of West St. Joseph Street at 5:45 a.m. for a report of gunshots. Riverside bar closed after electrical fire, plans to reopen Wednesday

The fire happened at Park Place Lounge, a LGBTQ+ bar located on King Street. According to the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, the fire was caused by electrical issues.
