A woman died in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Tampa. Tampa police responded to the 1700 block of West St. Joseph Street at 5:45 a.m. for a report of gunshots. A woman in her mid-30s was found with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries. The suspect left the area after the shooting. The fire happened at Park Place Lounge, a LGBTQ+ bar located on King Street. According to the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, the fire was caused by electrical issues. They say there were no injuries reported. A person affiliated with the bar said the damage was not extensive. The bar said it plans to reopen Wednesday.
