Over one dozen crews battled an apartment fire in Orlando on Thursday night. Around 7:30 p.m., The Orlando Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at the Marina Landing Apartments at 6245 Westgate Drive. A 63-year-old man from Spring Hill died in a motorcycle accident on US-19 on Thursday afternoon. The crash occurred around 1:05 PM north of Briar Oaks Drive. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by the 63-year-old man, was traveling southbound on US-19. The family identified the victim as Walter Lee McQueen-Dukes. The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of John Street off of Old Fairfield Drive. A woman is dead after she was shot during a domestic disturbance in Edgewater on Thursday, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the incident was reported at around 5:10 p.m. at a home off Liza Clinton Road. The man accused of shooting the victim to death received treatment at the scene for a minor injury, according to deputies. Detectives will be interviewing him for further information. Neighbors near the incident scene said the home is usually quiet.

A severe traffic crash has closed a major road in Okeechobee on Thursday. The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said the severe crash was reported along Highway 70 West, near NE 122nd Drive. Another woman has died after a brutal stabbing on Sept. 20 at a home along Montgomery Avenue in Tice. Two weeks after the stabbing, 56-year-old Traci Perry died at Gulf Coast Medical Center on Wednesday. Her death came after a long fight for her life, but even in her final moments, Traci chose to help others by becoming an organ donor.  Tampa police are investigating after they say a man was shot to death Wednesday night.   It happened shortly after 9 p.m. on the 2600 block of East Chelsea Street. Police responding to reports of shots fired said they found a man suffering from upper body trauma.  The victim died from his injuries despite life-saving measures, according to the Tampa Police Department.  As of Thursday morning, no arrests have been made.  Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call
