A bus driver is under arrest in Brevard County after attacking a student while on their way to school, according to the Melbourne Police Department. The Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office announced Monday that an Osceola County jury found a woman guilty of stabbing two children. Doris Espinoza-Rodriguez, 40, is guilty of two counts of attempted second-degree murder with a weapon, aggravated child abuse, and felony battery for stabbing two children. On Jan. 16, 2023, Espinoza-Rodriguez stabbed two children inside a home in Osceola County. A 16-year-old boy has died after a shooting at a home in Wilton Manors Monday afternoon, police said. Portions of U.S. 19 were closed for some time after a semi-truck hit a power pole and knocked it over in Largo, causing downed power lines, officials said. The Largo Police Department says the accident happened sometime Monday at Frontage Road near Belleair Road. Officers, along with Largo Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
