A former Broward Sheriff’s deputy fired amid excessive force allegations back in 2022 has been arrested for allegedly hitting a student while working as a security guard at a Pompano Beach high school. RLT, 48, was arrested Thursday on two counts of aggravated child abuse and one count of battery, Broward jail records showed. Cell phone video appears to have captured the aftermath of a stabbing in Miami that left one man hurt and a father and son arrested.  The stabbing happened at around 8:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Northeast 2nd Street, according to Miami Police. A severe multi-vehicle crash in Miami Gardens Saturday evening killed five people, including four children, and sent five others to the hospital, officials said. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and 25 units arrived at the scene at Northwest 170th Street and 37th Avenue. A 61-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition after a car crash and fire early Sunday morning in Miami. Officials say the road will be closed while the scene is investigated by Palm Beach County detectives. According to an announcement by city officials, the Brightline train was traveling along the 3200 block of Pinewood Av. when both the engineer and conductor noticed an individual on the tracks.
