A 66-year-old Kissimmee woman died Wednesday after being struck by an SUV on a road in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Pedestrian killed by car in Polk County; deputies investigating

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation Wednesday afternoon after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of US-17 and Bill Bryan Road, north of Bowling Green, according to the sheriff’s office.
