2 contractors critically injured when crane collapses at CSX train yard

CSX said that two contractors were injured Friday at its Jacksonville Intermodal Yard when a crane collapsed and both were taken to the hospital. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department told News4JAX it transported two adults with critical injuries. CSX sent a statement to News4JAX about the accident. At approximately 10:55 a.m. on Friday, July 24, two contractors were injured in an industrial incident at CSX’s Jacksonville Intermodal Yard. The contractors were dismantling cranes when one of the cranes collapsed.

Man stabbed during armed robbery in Miami, police say

Photo: WPLG Miami police are investigating after a man in his 60s was stabbed Friday morning, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News. According to police, the incident was reported at 7:27 a.m. in the area of Northeast Miami Avenue and 80th Terrace.
