CSX said that two contractors were injured Friday at its Jacksonville Intermodal Yard when a crane collapsed and both were taken to the hospital. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department told News4JAX it transported two adults with critical injuries. CSX sent a statement to News4JAX about the accident. According to police, the incident was reported at 7:27 a.m. in the area of Northeast Miami Avenue and 80th Terrace. Police said the victim was stabbed during an armed robbery in which his wallet was stolen. The victim was transported by Miami Fire Rescue medics to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Flames were visible coming from the front of the vehicle’s hood before crews worked to contain the fire.
