New video shows when Daytona Beach police officers apprehended a suspect in a stolen SUV.  Police identified the suspect as Allen Simmons Jr., who failed to stop for a traffic violation. Officers deployed tire deflation devices, causing Simmons to crash through a barricade near a Home Depot and into a retention pond. Fanning Springs Fire Rescue (FSFR) officials said they responded to a call at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday for two pedestrians who were hit by a car. The incident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 168th Lane and Northwest 80th Ave in Fanning Springs. According to FSFR chief Wallace Taylor, two patients were identified on scene by Levy and Gilchrist County Fire Rescue, an 85-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl. A Port Orange man was gunned down in his own jewelry store, according to police. John Craiger, 83, is accused of pulling the trigger and is now behind bars without bond. One person was hospitalized and another was in custody after a fight at a barbershop in West Little River led to a shooting Tuesday. The shooting happened in the shop at the Village Flea Market and Mall on Northwest 27th Avenue and 79th Street. A Miami woman is facing a first-degree felony charge after police said she assaulted a west Miami-Dade pet store worker over a purchase of crickets. According to Miami-Dade police, the incident happened in May at the Petsmart at 8241 W. Flagler St. in the unincorporated Fontainebleau area. Crews from the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District responded to a residential fire at 4:32 a.m. Monday, at 4020 Coconut Circle North. Lewis Guerriero, owner of Louie’s Place Recovery Residence, was devastated by the loss. A woman and two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and shootout outside a Miramar Flanigan’s earlier this month after police said they left a trail of evidence behind after the crime. A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday after reportedly fleeing from a traffic stop on Interstate 75 northbound and crashing into a pickup truck and trailer in south Fort Myers.
