The fire was at a residence located in the 5900 block of Timuquana Road. JFRD reported the fire on its social media at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The accidents both occurred before noon today, according to information obtained from the FL511.com. At around 11:39 a.m., multiple vehicles were involved in an accident near mile marker 274 in the northbound lanes of the highway. As of 12:30 p.m., traffic was backed up for several miles back to mile marker 270.

On Friday, Florida Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle collision that resulted in one fatality and another facing serious injuries. A pedestrian was killed after he was hit by an SUV on Normandy Boulevard Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A silver SUV was traveling in the left lane westbound on Normandy Blvd, east of Blair Road, around 11:56 p.m., when a pedestrian entered the road from the center grass median directly in front of the vehicle, according to the FHP incident report. A 20-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting in Bunnell Saturday night, according to the Bunnell Police Department. Police said around 10:25 p.m., officers and deputies responded to a report of a man shot on E. Drain Street. When they arrived, they rendered life-saving measures to the man while securing the area for medical responders to arrive.
