A man is dead and his girlfriend was hospitalized after police said they were both found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in SW Miami-Dade. According to Miami-Dade Police, an adult man was found near the 11000 block of SW 30th Street, and appeared to have an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Fellsmere Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon. The police department said it responded at 2:43 p.m. to the 1000 block of Lincoln Street. A Clearwater woman, who was fired from a local childcare facility, was arrested on multiple child abuse charges on Tuesday.  The Clearwater Police Department said Noel Michelle Savoy was taken into custody on nine counts of child abuse involving five victims – who were all about 1-year-old.  Investigators said the incidents took place in the infant room at the childcare facility, located along McMullen Booth Road.
