A 24-year-old Bradenton man is now facing multiple gun-related charges after a reported shooting Friday night. Sarasota Police responded to Midtown Plaza near the intersection of US 41 and Bahia Vista Steet. Witnesses say Emilio Hernandez appeared to be intoxicated when he got into an argument with another man. That’s when they say Hernandez pulled out a pistol and fired three rounds. A man who was wounded in a shooting at the Gardens Mall earlier this month has been indicted on a federal firearms charge. Kemarcio Mitchell, 28, of West Palm Beach, is charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. On February 18th, the mother of an eight-month-old baby left her child in the care of 33-year-old James Clark while she went to work. The son of a convicted killer sentenced to death was arrested at a North Fort Myers tent on child pornography charges, authorities say. A 23-year-old man in Lake City was killed in a shooting on Monday night. Officers are working to identify the gunman. Just before 10 p.m., a 911 caller reported someone was shot on Northwest Ashley Street.
