A 2-year-old boy was shot by a 4-year-old in a home on Saturday morning, police say. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said that shortly after 9:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to Pulaski St. in Port Charlotte for a 2-year-old shot by a 4-year-old. A 37-year-old convicted felon was at the Monroe County Jail’s Key West facility on Sunday accused of killing a 54-year-old man, records show. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Lee Charles Quinn on Saturday at the corner of Overseas Highway and 39 Street in Marathon. Toddler nearly drowns in Miami-Dade’s Ojus neighborhood

 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to a house on Sunday night to find a toddler who had nearly drowned in a house pool in the Ojus neighborhood. Miami-Dade police officers also responded to the house near Northeast 195 Street and 23 Avenue. Police are investigating after they say a gunman opened fire in a Miami Gardens neighborhood over the holiday weekend. Local 10 News obtained video from Only in Dade of a person wielding what appears to be an assault rifle and sprinting through a driveway while firing several rounds.
