An 80-year-old woman was arrested on Monday after she pulled her neighbor’s beard and spit on him, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say Sandra Rogers was at home when she saw the victim washing his motorcycle. Rogers walked over to the victim’s home located in the 1000 block of Paradise Lane, according to the PCSO. A couple was arrested and faces charges of child neglect after a baby suffered from symptoms of an overdose. Debris was scattered all over the side of the ramp on the southbound Turnpike heading to Coconut Creek Parkway, Wednesday morning. A woman is dead after intentionally entering a storm drain on Wednesday, WBBH reports. The incident occurred at the Fort Myers Country Club. According to the Fort Myers Police Department, they removed water from the storm drain and attempted to rescue her, but were unsuccessful. A woman lost her Riverview home in a fire Wednesday morning, authorities said. Firefighters responded to the blaze on Anderson Drive near Graystone Place after receiving a call from the woman saying her entire house was on fire, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said in a news release. Two men are in the hospital with serious injuries after their loved ones say they were hit by a car while running a race in the Florida Keys this past weekend.
