A 26-year-old Satsuma woman died after colliding with a tree on Old US-17 near Tompkins Road in Putnam County, according to Florida Highway Patrol. A deadly pedestrian crash on Interstate 75 in Gainesville caused delays during rush hour on Thursday. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the northbound lanes at mile marker 384, just north of the Archer Road exit, around 5 p.m. Troopers say a 50-year-old man was hit by a semi-truck. A 19-year-old man died and a 15-year-old girl was critically injured after the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a pickup truck traveling on Peppergrass Road in Clay County Wednesday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. According to FHP, the teenagers were traveling northbound on Cosmos Avenue at around 7 p.m. when they crashed into a pickup truck traveling westbound on Peppergrass Road.
