According to Charlotte County Public Safety, Charlotte County Fire & EMS crews responded to the home at 3:17 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames, with the roof already gone. A child has died after being left in a vehicle in Winter Haven for an unknown amount of time, according to Winter Haven Police Department Public Information Officer (PIO) Jaime Brown. Officials said police and fire responded to a home at Ave N NW involving an infant left inside a vehicle at around 3:50 p.m. on March 31. When crews arrived, they started life-saving measures and transported the child to the hospital. The PIO later said the child had died.

A Wisconsin man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly attacked multiple individuals and attempted to throw one person off a hotel balcony in Panama City Beach.
