According to the Fort Myers Police Department, units responded to an ambulance-involved crash on Colonial Boulevard at Six Mile Cypress Parkway shortly after 7:30 a.m. FMPD said that no one was injured in the crash and no roadblocks are in place at this time. A woman died Monday morning after her car struck a wooden pole on Edgewood Avenue North, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.  A tractor trailer overturned in Sunrise, shutting down a lane of traffic as crews attempted to remove the vehicle, according to officials from the Sunrise Police department. The accident shut down the exit ramp from the Sawgrass expressway to West Sunrise Boulevard. The driver suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
