The accident involving multiple vehicles appeared to have occurred in the southbound express lanes to the south of Sunrise Boulevard just after 12 p.m. One of the vehicles could be seen on its roof. First responders quickly rushed to the scene to evaluate and treat injured victims. Officials said there were several injuries as a result of the crash, one of which was considered critical.

 Flames erupted inside a home in North Miami Monday morning. The fire was reported in the area of Northeast 122nd Terrace and 12th Court. Two drivers were killed in a crash early Friday that shut down lanes on U.S. 1 in both directions. A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash while riding an electric scooter Thursday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. JSO said the crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 6300 block of Jammes Road. The woman was heading southbound on an e-scooter when she was struck by a vehicle also heading southbound.
