Florida Highway Patrol are still investigating a hit and run on U.S. 41 that left one man dead. This crash took place on the Northbound lanes of U.S. 41 in Manatee County. It occurred around 4 A.M. on Sept, 11 2024. Police say the vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was possibly “laying on the U.S. 41 travel lane.” The vehicle failed to wait for emergency services and has yet to be located.
