The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a vehicle crash with injuries shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday.
According to CCSO, one person was transported to an area hospital for their injuries after the two-vehicle crash.
Northbound lanes experienced heavy traffic backups trying to leave the Island as authorities responded to the scene.
