One person has died after their motorcycle collided with a sedan on Gunn Highway in Westchase on Friday, authorities said.
Around 5 p.m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash in the area of Gunn and Sheldon Road and found the motorcyclist deceased.
It appears the sedan driver was not seriously hurt. They are currently being interviewed by deputies.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The agency said eastbound Gunn Highway will be closed from Sheldon Road until further notice.
