DEADLY TURNPIKE CRASH: Semi truck flips over near Becker Road in Port St. Lucie

All northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County are back open Thursday after a deadly crash involving a semi truck shut the highway down for hours.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at approximately 2 a.m. just north of Becker Road in Port St. Lucie.

Our WPTV News crew at the scene saw a semi truck flipped over on its side.

All northbound lanes were shut down for hours on Thursday morning. However, all lanes eventually reopened by 9:30 a.m.
