A shooting investigation is underway in Orange County after a man was killed and another woman was injured on Tuesday morning.
According to Orange County Fire Rescue, officials were dispatched to Pershing Avenue and South Goldenrod Road around 2 a.m. in reference to a medical emergency. There, Orange County deputies located two victims who had been shot — a 19-year-old man and a woman in her 20s.
Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the man was pronounced deceased.
According to deputies, the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not released any more information about what led to the shooting or any potential suspects.
Roads in the area were closed as OCSO investigated the area but have since reopened. According to the sheriff’s office, this is still an active and ongoing investigation.
