Authorities in Broward County are investigating after a teenager was shot.
It happened on Tuesday night just before 9 p.m. along the 5000 block of Northwest 36th Street in Lauderdale Lakes.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies and rescue crews responded to the scene and found a teenage boy who had been shot.
He was taken to an area hospital to be treated, and authorities said his injuries are not expected to be life threatening.
Deputies did not release any information regarding any suspects or persons of interest.
