Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating after a man was shot in the Pine Hills area Tuesday night.
OCSO said deputies responded to the 4900 block of Homestead Road for a shooting around 8:35 p.m. At the scene, deputies located a man in his 20s who had been shot. That man was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
WESH 2 saw one person being taken into custody at the scene late Tuesday night, but it is unclear whether that person is a suspect in the shooting or facing any charges at this time.
The sheriff’s office said that it is still very early in its investigation and did not release any other information.
