Deputies: Pensacola man arrested with drugs, gun after trying to run from crash

A 25-year-old Pensacola man was arrested with drugs following a crash Monday night in Escambia County.

Tremaine Pressley is charged with:

  • trafficking meth
  • drug possession
  • weapon possession
  • resisting arrest
  • drug equipment possession
  • fleeing/eluding
  • stalking
  • hit-and-run (two counts)
  • driving while license suspended

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy witnessed a Dodge Durango driving recklessly just before it collided with another vehicle at Beverly Parkway and North Palafox Street.

The driver, Pressley, ran from the crash but was quickly apprehended by the deputy.

He was arrested for being in possession of 200 grams of methamphetamine, a stolen handgun, and other various narcotics, according to the sheriff’s office.

Pressley is being held in Escambia County Jail without bond.
