Deputies are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run with injuries in Cape Coral on Sunday.
Officials say the red Lexus SUV was involved in a hit-and-run crash near the 700 block of SW Pine Island Road.
Witnesses on the scene said the victim’s car was flipped over, which shut down Pine Island Road and Nicholas Parkway.
Deputies say the victim sustained serious injuries. There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time.
Officials have not shared any information on the victim at this time.
