A house in Marion County was destroyed in a fire early Friday morning.
When they arrived at a home on Southeast 169th Avenue in Ocklawaha just after 1 a.m., Marion County Fire Rescue crews found flames shooting out of the house’s roof.
Thirty-nine firefighters and eight fire suppression units responded to the 3,500 square foot home.
No occupants or firefighters were hurt in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
