A father was killed, and one other individual was seriously injured, in a fatal three-vehicle crash at an Ocala intersection on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at the intersection of N Pine Avenue and NW 20th Street, according to the Ocala Police Department.
One of the individuals involved in the accident, Ethan Reeves, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another individual was rushed to a local hospital as a trauma alert for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No other injuries were reported by OPD and no details were provided regarding the cause of the crash, or the vehicles or individuals involved.
In the hours since the accident, friends and family have shared memories of Reeves, whose nickname was “Little Country.”
A proud father, Reeves regularly posted photos of his family with touching messages across social media.“Family is a gift that lasts forever, I am truly blessed to have mine,” said Reeves in a post in November 2023.
