A 21-year-old man was critically injured after crashing into a barrier wall on Interstate 95 Sunday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
An FHP crash report states around 12:39 p.m., the man was driving an SUV traveling south on I-95 near Atlantic Boulevard.
For an unknown reason, troopers said the vehicle lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier wall in the center median.
The vehicle came to a final stop on the left shoulder of I-95 South at Atlantic Boulevard, according to FHP.
The man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The crash report does not indicate whether the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
