A 23-year-old Pensacola man riding a motorcycle was seriously injured in an accident in Cantonment on Friday night, says a report.
Florida Highway Patrol says around 8:20 p.m. the motorcyclist was traveling north on Tate Road as a sedan carrying five Pensacola teens were traveling south. He didn’t have on his headlights while in a dark area.
The driver of the sedan — a 16-year-old girl — turned left onto Pompano Road when the motorcyclist hit the right side of her vehicle. His motorcycle then overturned.
The motorcyclist was taken to Sacred Heart with seriously, but non-life threatening, injuries. The 16-year-old sedan driver and her 15-year-old passengers were not injured.
FHP says the motorcyclist was cited for driving on a suspended license, no registration and no headlights.
