FHP: 35-year-old Interlachen woman dies in Bradford County crash

A 35-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Bradford County Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash report said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on State Road 100 near L.M. Gaines Boulevard around 2:45 a.m. when it ran off of the road to the right and then back across the lanes of travel. The right side of the truck then collided with a tree, troopers said.

The victim was pronounced dead on scene, the report said, and the driver, a 37-year-old Keystone man, was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries. The report said neither of them were wearing a seatbelt.

FHP is currently investigating the crash.
