Firefighters respond to vehicle fire on I-75, traffic delayed.

One person was taken to the hospital after a crash on I-75 left one vehicle on fire.

Marion County Fire Rescue crews responded to the crash around 5 p.m. Thursday in the Southbound lanes of I-75 just South of County Road 316.

After the two vehicles crashed, one of them veered into trees, catching on fire.

MCFR officials say one person was trapped in the vehicle but bystanders pulled them out.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
